This time, their spirit is shown in a little-known skirmish which involved the Mississippi Marine Brigade at Lake Chicot, Arkansas, June, 1864. Although the outcome was ordained, there were those who confidently believed that &#8211; if any could survive &#8211; these would be the ones to do so.
